    Sandeep Sood, M.D.

    Dr. Sood is a Pediatric Neurosurgeon with special interests in epilepsy surgery, pediatric brain tumors, hydrocephalus, endoscopic surgery, craniofacial surgery and spinal dysraphism. Dr. Sood is an assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

    Dr. Sood completed medical school at New Delhi in 1984 followed by a Neurosurgical Residency in 1989. Dr. Sood then completed a Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship at Children's Hospital of Michigan in 1992 and a Fellowship in Neurotrauma at Detroit Receiving Hospital in 1993.

    Dr. Sood is a member of many medical societies including: American Medical Association, Michigan Medical Association, Michigan Association of Neurological Surgeons, Wayne State Medical Society, International Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Hydrocephalus Association..
