DALLAS, PA - October 31, 2008 - Craig W. Solomon, vice president, Healthcare Division, Metz & Associates, Ltd., was recently honored with the "Generosity of Spirit Award 2008" by the Catherine McAuley Center.
The award is presented each year to an individual or organization that has gone above and beyond in supporting the Catherine McAuley Center and its mission.
Its recipient embraces hospitality and always goes the extra mile for others.
The award recognizes individuals who are sensitive to the needs of others and is dedicated to helping those less fortunate.
A member of the McAuley Center board of directors, Solomon has worked with the Metz organization to secure financial and food donations to cover the expenses of the McAuley House Annual Volunteer Luncheon.
He is also extremely active as volunteer and fundraiser for the Center.
"Craig was our choice for this year's Generosity of Spirit Award," said Sister Therese Marques, RSM, executive director for the McAuley Center.
"He exemplifies the foundation of public spiritedness.
He has been involved with the Center since the early 1990s, is an active Board member, assists every year with the volunteer luncheons, provides professional assistance whenever needed, and his sensitivity is reflected through his constant smile.
The Center is honored to have him as part of the ministry."
Solomon resides in Dallas with his wife, Tammy, and 3-year-old son, Jacob.
