Bill Sobel has been with Symantec since 1991.During the 1990s he helped build Symantec's consumer-based offerings including Norton Utilities, Norton System Works, and Norton Anti-Virus.Since 1999,.Sobel has been working to grow Symantec's portfolio of technologies as part of the mergers and acquisitions team.Sobel works in the new and emerging technologies group where he helps identify and drive innovation both internally and externally for use throughout the company.Sobel is also one of Symantec's key innovators with more than 40 U.S. patent filings.
