    Mr. Snyder is an avid entrepreneur, private equity investor, and civil servant. He has founded, grown, and sold several very successful companies. Mr. Snyder is currently the Chairman of Great Skate, Inc., the largest distributor of hockey equipment in the United States. One of Mr. Snyder's notable accomplishments was in 1969 when he founded formalwear company, Tuxedo Junction, Inc., growing it to 38 company-owned and approximately 500 affiliated dealers, and selling the business in 2006. During this time, Mr. Snyder also was the Chairman of Greater Buffalo Savings Bank, which was chartered in 1999 and sold in 2008. During his time at Tuxedo Junction, Inc., and prior to his service at Greater Buffalo Savings Bank, Mr. Snyder was also Chairman of Gingiss International's Board of Directors. This company sold in 1999, and was an operator and franchisor of over 240 formalwear stores in 37 states.

    Mr. Snyder is currently Trustee of the Snyder Family Charitable Foundation and a Member of the Buffalo Club, Country Club of Buffalo, and the Banyon Golf Club in Palm Beach, FL. Prior to that, Mr. Snyder was Trustee of the University of Buffalo Foundation, Medaille College, and St. Mary's School for the Deaf. Mr. Snyder was also Trustee of the Millard Fillmore Hospital Foundation, Studio Arena Theater, and Nichols School. Mr. Snyder was also Member of the Investment Committee of the Regional Development Corporation for Buffalo and Erie counties.
