Lowell has over thirty-four years of experience working with companies on regulatory compliance problems involving complex technical issues before a variety of government agencies.Over the most recent eight-year period, he has successfully represented clients seeking registrations, agency accommodations and other approvals for pesticide products regulated by EPA and FDA.
Lowell helped create, and continues to be an influential participant in, the Antimicrobial Treated Article Coalition (ATAC).His leadership on antimicrobial issues was recognized by his peers, who recently selected him to serve on the Board of Directors for the Consumer Specialty Products Association's (CSPA) Antimicrobial Products Division.He also represents ChemReg and client's interests as an active participant in various other trade groups, including Responsible Industry for a Safe Environment (RISE), Chemical Producers and Distributors Association (CPDA), and the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA).
Lowell Snow has been instrumental in developing successful, ongoing dialogue between industry and EPA's Antimicrobial Division (AD), directly resulting in the issuance of Pesticide Registration (PR) Notices 2000-1 and 2000-10 and the resolution of a large number of other industry concerns.He continues to be a driving force in the continuation of that dialogue on behalf of clients.
Lowell Snow has chaired various technical committees and conferences, and continues to participate in independent scientific peer reviews of government technical programs.He earned his bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee (1968), his master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina (1979), and is a registered professional engineer.He has completed extensive further course work toward a PhD at the University of South Carolina, and has published articles in various technical journals.He also holds two patents, one of which involves an innovative antimicrobial product for use in nuclear waste containment systems.
