ndrew A. Smits is an attorney with the firm of Resnick & Gray and brings to the organization broad expertise in business and insurance litigation , as well as creditors' rights.

Holder of both a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management Science ( Political Science minor ) from the University of California at San Diego , Mr. Smits has enjoyed a lauded legal career at respected Orange County law firms prior to joining Resnick & Gray.

Over the past decade , he has successfully handled complex cases involving business disputes , construction defect related matters , insurance bad faith , class actions , bankruptcies , and other business-related litigation.Also , he has prepared appellate briefs for the Court of Appeal and State Supreme Court.

Mr. Smits is a member of the California State Bar and holds membership in the Orange County Bar Association ( Business Litigation section ) , and the Robert Banyard Inn of Court.Also , he is licensed to practice before the United States District Court ( all four California districts ) and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Smits' community involvement includes active participation in a parent oversight committee concerning approximately 30 day care facilities for the Central Orange Coast branch of the YMCA.
