    FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 23 - Sabre (NYSE: TSG), today announced the appointment of Scott W. Smith as vice president and general manager of Sabre Business Travel Solutions.

    In his new role, Smith will be responsible for overall strategic direction and operations of the Sabre corporate travel management suite of products, Sabre BTS(TM).Smith's responsibilities also include management of product development plans and budgets, direct and distributor sales programs, and development of new distribution and licensing opportunities.

    "As Sabre BTS moves into new areas such as supply chain management and ERP integration, we are extremely pleased to have someone with Scott's experience and knowledge in corporate travel management at the helm," said Nancy Raynor, senior vice president of emerging businesses for Sabre.
