Mr. Smith was a graduate of Okmulgee High School in 1926 and the University of Oklahoma in 1930.He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1937.He was a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.Mr. Smith established his practice in downtown Okmulgee, where he practiced for over 60 years.As a devoted philanthropist, through the years Graham was associated with the Girl Scouts of America and the Lion's International for more than 60 years and served as president and District 3-0 governor.He sang with the Lion minstrel group from Okmulgee.He was known as "Rosebud".He was a benefactor of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, and a founder of the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital Foundation, which has a scholarship in his name for the student of Okmulgee that demonstrates Mr. Smith's degree of integrity, dedication and honor.Graham was a devoted University of Oklahoma Alumni, as well as, an avid Sooner fan.During his years at OU, he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and a Sooner Ruf-Nek.He also sang in the OU Glee club.Following in his father's footsteps, he served on the Board of Directors of the First National Bank and its Holding Company.He was a member of the First Christian Church in Okmulgee.
