   Ashanti Love Ashanti Love is in her first year in coaching volleyball and is serving as an athletic assistant after a stellar career as a high school athlete. A native of Navasota , she competed in volleyball and track and field at Navasota High School. She also played on the Brazos Valley Diggers in a summer league.

   Blinn's Brown Signs With HBU Blinn College middle blocker Breanne Brown has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for Houston Baptist University. Brown , 6-0 , a former all-district selection at Cypress Falls High School , was named to the All Region 14 Team this past season. She had a .262 kill percentage , 2.12 kills per game , 1.41 blocks per game and 1.9 digs per game. She is the third member of Coach Nicole Smith's squad to sign with a four-year school.
