Derek began his journey as a Valuer in Victoria in 2001 in a Municipal Valuer's role, completing valuations for the 2002 revaluation.Within his first year he was approached by a private practice in Warrnambool where he worked conducting valuations of rural and residential properties.Whilst he enjoyed this he strived for more challenges leading him to an opportunity at Landlink undertaking work in the Commercial and Specialist Property arena interspersed with general Residential Mortgage work.

Today Derek is based in Bendigo, a recent move from Geelong to head up the office in Central Victoria, taking on the role as Business Centre Manager.

After hours Derek leads an active life, being involved in many sporting organisations with Rugby Union being his main passion.Derek grew up on a property located along the West Coast of the North Island of New Zealand, hence his passion for the game of Rugby Union.Derek is currently playing for the Bendigo Miners Rugby Union Club which is proving to be a successful stint.
