Church Administrator: Darlene Smith joined FBC as Business Administrator in 2003.She has an MBA from the University of Vermont, and a one-year Gerontology Certificate from Portland Community College.Previously, she has worked for IBM (various accounting and Financial Analyst positions), ADC Telecommunications (Controller), and a seven-member association of banks in Vermont (Accounting Manager).She is a member of the Cedar Mill Christ United Methodist Church, but volunteers often at FBC.Darlene is currently enrolled at George Fox University in the Graduate Counseling program.She enjoys reading, listening to music, traveling, and meeting interesting people.

Darlene B. Smith - Funeral DirectorA graduate of Florida Community College with an Associate of Science in Mortuary Science, she has been employed with Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home & Cremation Centre since 2002 and Managing Director since 2006.Darlene and her husband, Lynn have five children, Melissa, Nikki, Cory, Lyndsey, and Logan and one granddaughter, Makayla.She is an active member of First Baptist Church.
