Starting out as a screen printer and then moving into embroidery.In 1991 she was awarded 1st place in the IMPRESSIONS Magazine awards for "Best Production Embroidery"

She is a frequent speaker at industry shows and writes for Stitches, The Press and EMB magazines.

She has been a consultant in the embroidery business for seven years.Even traveling to Europe to work with several companies.In 1996 she started her own embroidery and digitizing business in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
