Mrs. Ernestine F. Sledd is Corporate Secretary of Corporation for National Research Initiatives (CNRI).Mrs. Sledd joined CNRI in September 1991 as Staff Accountant.In 2000, she became the Accounting Manager, overseeing all of the accounting and auditing activities of CNRI.She assumed the additional duties of the Business Office Manager along with her Accounting Manager duties in October 2002.She currently is the Director of Financial Management and is responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial, and project administration for the entire company.In addition, she directly supervises the accounting department staff.She coordinates and interfaces with independent Certified Public Accountants and auditors.She was elected Corporate Secretary in September 2006.

From 1988 to 1991, she was an independent consultant providing a full range of accounting services for various small businesses including accounting software training.

Mrs. Sledd was Senior Staff Accountant of Mandex, Inc. from 1981 to 1988.Her last position there was Director of Finance and Purchasing where she had the responsibility of overseeing purchasing and monitoring the financial position of the company.She was the point of contact to the federal government for contract receivables and calculation and determination of direct and indirect rates and adjustments.

From 1978 to 1981, Mrs. Sledd was a member of the accounting department for the law firm of Wilmer, Cutler and Pickering.She was responsible for all accounts receivable functions.

Mrs. Sledd received an accounting degree in 1989 and has taken numerous other classes since that time in order to fine tune her accounting, business law and management skills.
