    Sledd, who will speak to those attending, always tries to motivate people to reach new goals and dream bigger, including pursuing education.

    "I think people always have more potential than is ever used," she said."God has created in us a greater ability than we ever use up.What makes life really exciting is to have something you're really reaching for. ... After you're finished celebrating (reaching a goal), have a new goal.

    "I think that's what life is all about - never stop learning and growing."

    Sledd began her career as a sales director in 1982 because she wanted to run her business in a flexible manner from her home to create more time with her children.Since 1984, she has earned 14 new cars from Mary Kay Inc. and has been named to the company's National Court of Sales nine years, earning a diamond ring each time.

    She also owns and operates The Vision Place, a private company where she works as a training specialist.

    "Here's what I believe: I believe that attitude determines altitude.Each individual can continue to grow at every stage of life," she said.
