Richard B. Sims

The Morris H. Blum Humanitarian Award, created to honor the founder of WANN-AM Radio in Annapolis, will be presented posthumously to Richard B. Sims. A graduate of Bates High School, Mr. Sims was employed at the Naval Academy for almost 40 years. From 1962 to 1985, Mr. Sims was the host of WANN's "Down Home Hour." He was a member of the Frontiers Club and served on the Human Relations Commission for the city of Annapolis.
