She assists clients in drafting and negotiating licensing, distribution and other agreements; asserting and defending copyright and trademark claims, and preparation of non-disclosure and business protection agreements. he also advises performers, production companies and others in the entertainment industry with respect to their business issues.

Ms. Simpson serves on the Steering Committee of DigitalEve Seattle, a professional organization for women in new media and digital technology, and on the Education Committee of Seattle Arts & Lectures. er public presentations include topics ranging from digital music rights to domain name disputes, and she co-teaches a course in Media Law and Ethics for budding video producers.

Ms. Simpson is a graduate of Hastings College of the Law, University of California.Prior to attending law school she earned a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley.
