In Almaty, Kazakhstan, you will work alongside Tim and Theresa Simpson, with East-West Ministries, who have penetrated the lines of religion and culture in this Muslim country.You will remodel a much- needed building to be used as a center to train pastors, evangelists, and church planters to reach Central Asia with the Gospel.You will partner with nationals in ministry outreach and in ESL (English as a second language) classes to share Christ with those who have never heard.Your participation in church services will encourage local believers and will be the highlight of your summer.The majestic Tien Shen Mountains will leave you breathless, and the people of this diverse Asian city will steal your heart with their need for hope.Go behind the lines!Be stretched by God!

Tim and Theresa Simpson, along with their four children have lived in Almaty, Kazkhstan for the last eight years.Tim is currently transitioning from his role as field director of Central Asia to being Strategic Coordinator of International Ministries.Their family is looking forward to serving the many fields of East-West around the globe."
