Terry Simpson
...
After the Banff School of Fine Arts and Vancouver Playhouse Theatre School, Terry performed regularly with the Vancouver Theatresports League, and at Rich Elwood's historic Punchline's Comedy Club.
Following a Green Thumb Players national tour in a piece he co-wrote, Terry worked his way across the country in comedy clubs to get to Quebec.
There, Terry studied linguistics at Laval University and L'Université de Montréal.
He has written and directed several original comedy revues, including HEY KIDS, LICK THIS! and in 2000, NOSTRADAMUS, SHUT UP ALREADY.
He was New Talent Coordinator for several years at Ernie Butler's even more historic nightclub, "The Comedy Nest", and started an hour-long radio review "The Roadshow Radio Hour", with Ernie at Montreal station, CIQC.
This then transformed into the still popular "Montreal Comedy Hour" on CJAD.
Most recently, he has collaborated with the comedy troupe at the heart of Waiter By Day productions.
For the last ten years, Terry has worked as a writer and performer in Canadian film, radio, and television.
