Legal Expertise
Greg joined the firm in early 2002. Most recently he was with a very large London, England-based firm, where he specialized in major reinsurance arbitrations. Greg joined a prestigious law firm after law school where he concentrated in the banking and corporate finance practice, assisting clients with secured loan agreements, structured finance transactions, including securitization and project finance, and private and public securities offerings. He also worked on projects with the firm's public law group, including the negotiations with California government agencies for purchase of rights of way for commuter rail service from a major railroad. In addition, he worked on the staff of the Illinois Speaker of the House in Springfield during a legislative session.
At KFP Greg concentrates his practice in commercial litigation in state and federal courts, reinsurance arbitrations and counseling clients in commercial transactions and disputes.

Greg graduated from Harvard University in 1985 with a B.A. cum laude, and received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1988. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association where he served on the Judicial Evaluation Committee.
