Hunters: Eddie Salter and Matt Morrett with Hunter's Specialties, Michael Waddell, J.R. Edge with Buckmasters, Jeff Simmons with Simmon's Sporting Goods and Kristen Cole with LaCrosse.

I hunted with Jeff Simmons and Kristen Cole.
    ...
Jeff Simmons with Simmons Sporting Goods informed me that he would back me up the following morning. He said, "If you miss, I'll kill it."
    ...
At that point, Jeff got the chance to shoot, and he took the bird without hesitation. That just proves that you never know how the hunt will go down.Just when everything seems perfect, something will go wrong. But at least Jeff got the bird.

Hunters: Michael Waddell and cameraman Marc Womack, Jeff Simmons with Simmons Sporting Goods, Vandy Collins, friend of Realtree, Tim Herald with Under Armor, Storm Storms with Camelback and Steve Anderson, friend of Realtree and manager of part of the Double MR Ranch.
    ...
The next morning, Jeff, Steve, Marc, Vandy and I all went out together.
    ...
Jeff and I were really the only ones hunting.Since we were able to get the gobblers to come in so close to us the previous day, I decided to try to kill one with my bow.

We set up close to the same spot where we had taken the gobbler the day before and immediately called in two longbeards with Hunter's Specialties mouth and box calls.I shot at one with my bow and missed it.Jeff was supposed to back me up with his 10 gauge. He shot at the bird three times and still missed.
    ...
I was definitely no threat to Robin Hood's Legacy, and shooting start Tom Knapp didn't have to worry about Jeff robbing him of his standings either.
    ...
At about 11 a.m., two more longbeards came in with hens, and finally, Jeff and I both hit our targets.
    ...
So Tim killed two, I killed two, Stormy killed one, Marc killed one and Jeff Simmons killed two only one day into the hunt.
    ...
Jeff and I went out on our own.

We headed out before daylight that first morning, and were able to get a turkey to gobble at the first place that we stopped. We immediately called in two longbeards with a hen.I beat Jeff to the punch. One longbeard came in behind Jeff, but he had a burr under his but and couldn't get turned around to get it, so I shot it instead.
    ...
Jeff Simmons (right) was all smiles after limiting out along with hunting partner Michael Waddell.
    ...
After lunch, Tim and the guys went back out and so did Jeff and I. That afternoon, Jeff and I killed two more turkeys.
    ...
I killed four in a day and a half and Jeff had limited out as well.
