Dr. Lee Simmons is a founding board member of RETX. In 1997 and 1998, he had the responsibilities of Chief Information Officer for Enron Energy Services, where he was responsible for the development of new information systems to support electricity deregulation in the US and abroad, including systems for electric meter reading, billing and customer service. From 1973 to 1998, Dr. Simmons worked for Science Applications International Corporation ("SAIC") in a variety of roles, most recently focused on positioning SAIC to capitalize on system integration opportunities resulting from the unbundling of electricity in the U.S. Dr. Simmons is the managing investment partner of Conlegium Veterum, a general partnership investing in rapidly growing public companies. He serves on the board of Amdex.com, an online energy auction company, MeltTran, a waste treatment technology company and is a director of the Teton County Health Care Foundation. He currently serves as President of the Targhee Towne Water Company, a small water utility in western Wyoming. He is trustee and investment manager of the Simmons' Family Charitable Trusts, which supports various health care and environmental organizations.
