Barbara MacKay Simmonds, a Counselor and Healing Facilitator, is a Reiki Master/Teacher who has been using Reiki with clients in her Post-Trauma Healing Practice for the past 16 years.She gives individual Reiki treatments; teaches all levels of Reiki, including Master-Teacher; and hosts a monthly Reiki Healing Circle that is open to Reiki practitioners.

Barbara received her Reiki training from Reiki Masters Charlotte Sophia Kasi, William Lee Rand, and Frank Arjava Petter; and her M.A. in Human Development from St. Mary's University, where she focused on the relationship between counseling psychology and holistic healing.She also teaches an advanced course in the ethics of self-care for helping professionals.
