Dr. Arlene Simmonds is semi-retired, having spent nearly 40 years with Rowland Unified as both teacher and principal.She is now an educational consultant who does external evaluations at schools across the state for the Los Angeles City Office of Education."It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to get involved and for Benihana to get involved in the community," Simmonds said of the contest.
