Andrew heads our Wellington commercial team and has extensive experience advising on corporate and commercial law issues.His expertise includes acting on business acquisition and sale transactions and takeovers, and advising on securities law issues.

Recent transactions in which Andrew has been involved include acting for the Crown on the acquisition of the national rail network from Tranz Rail and Toll, advising the independent directors of Rural Equities on competing takeover offers from H&K and St Laurence, and acting for Rangatira on the acquisition of 50% of Contract Resources.

Andrew has a particular interest in intellectual property, IT and technology law.He regularly advises on IT and technology procurement transactions and on technology commercialisation arrangements.He also acts for clients on technology-related corporate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals.
