   Tausha is the 21 year-old daughter of Jody and Kris Simkins of Afton, WY. She is hte middle child in a family of 5, with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Currently a senior at Weber State University, Tausha carries a 3.95 GPA and plans to attend medical school, becoming a Radiologist.
   
   A 5th generation Wyomingite, she is an 11 year horse 4-H member and a member of the Idaho, Colorado and Montana Reining Horse Associations. A highlight of her reining career was competing int he NRHA Reining Finals in Oklahoma City where she and her best friend Silver placed 2nd in the 14 - 18 age division.
   
   Tausha graduated as an honor student from high school and attended Rick's College on an academic scholarship. She received her Associates Degree from Rick's College in Physical Education and is also attending Weber State on an academic scholarship.
   
   While in high school, Tausha played Varsity basketball for 3 years and was a 4 year member of the elite jazz band, Jazzmin, playing the saxophone. She is also an Accomplished pianist.
