VP of Membership: Daniel Simenc

Daniel Simenc was introduced to HIMSS in January of 1995 and has continued to be an active member in Chicago, Kansas City and Dallas Fort Worth.

Through his experiences with Enterprise Systems (ESi), which was acquired by HBOC and then McKesson, he was exposed to every aspect of Healthcare Information Technology and Organizational Improvement Initiatives (Clinical, Financial, Specialties, Executive, Decision Support and many others).

Following his tenure at McKesson, Mr. Simenc built an organization - InAlysys, Inc. - focused on delivering superior business performance improvement solutions to the entire healthcare industry.

Mr. Simenc served as the VP of Programs for the DFW HIMSS from July 2003 - to June 2004.

He has been an actively involved with National HIMSS serving in various capacities, including: the vice-chairman for The Re-engineering and Performance Improvement Special Interest Group, member of the Data Warehouse SIG, has presented at HIMSS, and is a contributing member of the DFW Health Industry Council.

Today, Mr. Simenc is a Vice President with Eclipsys Corporation.
