Mary Shoane has over 25 years experience in teaching and organizing educational programs designed to help the career minded and professionals to achieve their optimum potential.Mary has 2 Master? degrees: one in Educational Administration and the other one in English.She is currently an instructor at Foothill College.

In addition to teaching at the college level, Mary has taught at some of the major companies in Silicon Valley, some of which include NEC, Tandem, Advanced Micro Device, Cisco, and ILC.Her clients range from CEO, management staff, to manufacturing staff.Courses taught varied from technical writing, business English, business communication, and accent reduction.

In 1985, Mary envisioned an organization that would be multi-faceted, practical, and achievable.Thus English for Professional Development was founded.She also wanted it to be a community where individuals would support each other? strengths.Mary firmly believes that only by our concerted effort in meeting the goals of the group as a whole will we as individuals be able to make an impact on industry and the community.
