Crecelius recommends that her patients who will be returning to work buy a high quality double electric pump after they have established a breastfeeding relationship.The pump lets them express their milk to feed the baby and keep their milk supply up.
Women can also tailor their pumping schedule to fit their schedule.
"It doesn't have to be 15 to 30 minutes three times a day," Shoalmire said.
