A Cooking Demonstration featuring French Chicken Dijon and Italian Chicken Marsala hosted by the City of Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department's Cultural Services Division and Phillip Shipley in the Historic Galván House at Heritage Park on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, from 10:30am to noon.
Join Phillip Shipley as he demonstrates how to make French Chicken Dijon and Italian Chicken Marsala.
Phillip started working in the hotel business while in high school.
He attended college in New York where he received a degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management.
Phillip was a Soux Chef at the Garden City Hotel, La Cote Dor and Westhampton Bath & Tennis Hotel.
He was also a Chef at the Post Stop Café and Executive Chef at the Hilton on The Circle in Indianapolis.
Phillip worked as a General Manager and Director of operations for TGI Friday's for 21 years.
He is currently General Manager for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi.
