Peter Shipley - Nomensa's Head of TechnologyAs Nomensa's Head of Technology, Peter is constantly looking for opportunities to push the technical boundaries for Accessibility and Usability.

Experience

Shortly after joining Nomensa, Peter pioneered the usage of Java and Open Source technologies within the company and has extensive experience specifying client technology requirements and their translation into accessible-usable applications and systems.

As well as implementing a defect tracking system for clients, Peter was instrumental in the set-up of the Nomensa User Testing Laboratories, which he continues to expand and develop.

Using extensive user research, Peter spearheaded the development of Defacto, the first fully accessible front and backend Content Management System.He continues to break new ground, ensuring Nomensa produces sustainable, accessible online technologies.

Education

Peter holds a BSc (Hons) Computer Science from Aston University.
