The IIP plaque was formally presented to Paul Shipley, who recently took over as managing director of the company from his father, Tony, who launched the business in Dronfield in 1976.

Eventemp worked for the IIP award with the help of the workforce development team at Derbyshire Chamber and Business Link.

The Chamber helps many local companies to secure IIP accreditation for their positive staff-development policies.

At Eventemp, even the managing director is included in the development programme.As part of a team-building project, Paul recently took part in the inaugural Sir Matthew Pinsent Corporate Regatta and helped the Daikin crew row their way to victory against nine other teams.
