Daragh Shields, Assistant Director at the Department for Employment and Learning, today unveiled the new service at Newry Jobs and Benefits Office. He said: "The technology we are launching today will help us provide an improved service to all of our clients."During this, the European Year of Workers' Mobility, we, in Northern Ireland, have become increasingly aware of the mobility of the workforce, not least through the numbers of non-nationals seeking employment here.This new service will be crucial in helping meet the demands of an increasingly complex labour force, providing a complete European Jobs Service."He continued: "Those seeking employment can now broaden their horizons and make full use of the opportunities that exist across the European Economic Area."
