    Keynote speech by Mr. Daniel Shields, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the United States of America, indicated that this election is defined by three characteristics; ‘Diversity', ‘Youth' and ‘Technology'. For diversity, Mr. Shields noted that, more than ever, this presidential race contained candidates with different backgrounds, races, ages, genders and religious views. For youth, he noted that, in this election, more young votes are eligible and they are more interested in politics. And lastly, for technology, he pointed to the fact that new technology is widely used in this race, whether it is internet fundraising, internet campaigning or high-tech communication to campaign volunteers.
