Connie Shields graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in education.She attended and graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in December 2000, having received dean's list recognition and CALI awards for research and writing and juvenile law.

EXPERIENCE: Connie began her experience with law serving as a Guardian ad litem in the Juvenile Court for some six years while attending law school.She also worked as a research assistant for Professor James Vache in the areas of constitutional law and Professional responsibility.She continued her law school education with an internship and clerkship at the Washington State Attorney General's office.Connie entered private practice in 1999, working in the field of family law.

Connie joined Mary Schultz and Associates, P.S. in the year 2002 as a family law associate.

Connie currently provides representation to clients individually, and assists Mary Schultz in handling various aspects of her family law practice, including representation and assistance in areas of Dissolution of Marriage; Modification of Parenting Plans; Modification of Child Support; Adjustment of Child Support; Annulments and Paternity Actions.Representation of clients at Show Cause Hearings; various Family Law Motions Hearings; Contempt Hearings; Domestic Violence Orders for Protection Hearings; and Revision Hearings.
