Mr S Goverdhan Shetty has also been the Chairman of Sugar Machinery Division of the All India Industrial Engineering Association, New Delhi for over 3 years.An entrepreneur at heart and a mastermind in finance, he set up a small scale industry and financial consultancy business.

With great foresight and vision, he founded and promoted Ruksun Software Technologies Pvt.Ltd. in 1993.Ruksun has today grown to a 110 people with offices in Pune and Seattle.

S. Goverdhan Shetty, Chairman, is a Chartered Accountant by qualification, with over 40 years of varied experience.In addition to his role as Chairman of the Ruksun Board of Directors, Mr. Shetty is among the founders of Ruksun.

Mr. Shetty's experience includes working at Buckau Wolf (now known as Krupps India) for 18 years as one of the top Executives looking after Finance, Banking, Taxation, Marketing and laying down the Company's policy decisions.He was the Chairman of the Sugar Machinery Division of the then existing All India Engineering Industries Association and Engineering Association of India, for a number of years.

Further he set up a small-scale industry, Financial Consultancy and Indenting Agency specialized in passive electronic components, representing world-renowned principals from USA, France and Germany.He went on to promote a 100% Export Oriented Unit under the Department of Electronics (DOE) for the manufacture and export of Electrolytic Tantalum Capacitors to France.He also serves on the board of Vijaya Commercial Credit Ltd., a company based in Bangalore, Karnataka.
