He has received OASME Best Industrial Promoter Award for the year 1994 - 95 from the Governor of Orissa, India.He has been closely associated with setting up venture capital funds in Orissa and Karnataka.He is also associated with the promotion of various organizations like Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Park (STEP) - Mysore, Karnataka Center for Quality Testing and Research - Bangalore, Peenya Trade Center and a few NGOs in Karnataka and Orissa.
