Jacky T. Shen is General Manager of the Golden Dynasty Restaurant in Hillsdale, New Jersey where he has been pivotal in the remarkable growth of the business.Shen is a model self-starter who worked his way up in the hospitality industry, starting off as a bus boy in New York, while a part-time student.Shen persevered in his studies, meanwhile advancing from a waiter in the elegant Vermont Rutland Eatery to become a full-time Captain at Golden Dynasty Restaurant in 1993, and soon thereafter, its Bar Manager.The business grew by an incredible 150% under his guidance.Shen graduated from Bergen Community College with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1996; he was promoted to General Manager in 1998.The business continues to thrive under his expert leadership; in 2000, there was a 35% increase in business, above the 20% increase in 1999.Shen understands the needs and desires of his patrons and is recognized as a community leader.He donates to school activities and sponsors many public events and projects.
