Forney Shell

Forney Shell is an outside sales representative for Globe Travel of Charlottesville.Globe is a well-established travel agency and has served the Charlottesville area for many years.Two years ago Forney became associated with Globe to serve Fluvanna County and surrounding communities.Forney and his wife Judy moved from California after each retired.Judy is a retired first grade teacher and Forney retired from Boeing Aircraft.They both love to travel so becoming a travel planner seemed a natural second career choice for Forney.While at Boeing he started preparing for that career by earning a diploma in "MasterTravel".Since then the Las Vegas Convention Bureau certified him a "Las Vegas Travel Specialist".Globe Travel is a full service agency.That means they cover all aspects of the travel industry.That includes group and individual tours as well as national and international travel involving cars, busses, ships, trains and planes.Forney prefers the term "travel planner" over "travel agent" because he feels his biggest value to the client occurs during the planning process rather than in just making reservations.Forney has several thoughts on why people should use Globe instead of doing it themselves.
