Since 1955, Presray has manufactured security doors and barriers, in the beginning for the aerospace and nuclear industries.

The installation is part of a renovation project at the Academy in response to damage from Hurricane Isabelle in 2003, Sheldon said.
One is a hinged door; the other, a sliding door.They weigh between 2,000 and 3,000 pounds and are designed to hold back 20 feet or 35 tons of water.
"That's water to the rooftop of a two-story building," Sheldon said.
