Judy Sheldon has been an award-winning technical communicator for over 20 years.After designing her B.A. in Technical Writing, Judy earned her M.A. in English, focusing on standards for software documentation.Judy is a certified Microsoft Office Word 2003 Expert as well as an expert in RoboHelp, FrameMaker, XMetaL, Help & Manual, and other documentation tools.As a principal of The Early Group, she consults on documentation needs; writes and edits manuals and Help systems; converts documents; creates styles, standards, and templates; and trains writers.Her clients range from high-tech start-ups to industry leaders, recently including EMC, Microsoft, and Polaroid.Judy is a co-leader of the STC Boston chapter of the Consulting and Independent Contracting Special Interest Group.
