The festival, sponsored annually by the Killingly-Brooklyn Cultural Development Foundation, will begin May 5 and run through May 15, Betti Sheldon, foundation president, said.
This year's festival will recognize the 150th anniversary of the Borough of Danielson and the Danielson Fire Department. The anniversary will serve as the theme for festival events, Sheldon said.
As part of that celebration, the borough and fire department will sponsor a Family Day, with a variety of games and other entertainment at Davis Park in Danielson May 16.
"We're very pleased to be able to honor the borough and its fire department and to be able to partner with them to celebrate their historic milestone," Sheldon said.
