Shelby, Director of Tax Planning & ComplianceMichael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management studies from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science degree in taxation from the University of Baltimore.He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tax Section and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.He has instructed an undergraduate course in taxation at Towson University and is currently an active Alumni Career Expert (ACE) volunteer with the University of Baltimore.He is also a tax law editor for a commercial monthly tax and financial newsletter publication.

Michael has over fifteen years of experience in the public accounting profession where he has worked with a wide variety of business and individual clients.He has over ten years of experience representing individual and business clients before the IRS regarding collection, audit and appeal matters.He is responsible for developing and implementing tax-related quality and control procedures and oversees tax planning and compliance engagements within the firm.
