    WILTON, Conn. (May 31, 2001) - Greenfield Online CEO Dean Wiltse today announced a new customer-focused sales and services strategy and the promotion of Mara Shelby to Senior Vice President and Chief Research Officer to lead this new alignment.Shelby of Wingdale, N.Y., had been a Vice President with Greenfield Online since April of 1999.She also was named a member of the company's Operating Committee.

    This – and other staffing changes being announced – are the first phase of Wiltse's 100-day plan for the company since he became CEO on April 30.Shelby will head four teams comprised of dedicated client development and client service professionals to provide seamless service and promote stronger business relationships."This phase of the plan sets up a structure that provides for clear accountability, which will yield, not only high quality products and services, but also an increasing level of client satisfaction needed to grow our business," Wiltse explains.

    The custom research part of Greenfield Online's business had been organized into separate sales and services departments.

    He adds that the new organization structure is aimed at bringing the right focus to each of the company's three core competencies - custom marketing research; infrastructure/outsourcing of online research services and business information solutions focused on selling non-competitive, incremental business driven by our proprietary technologies, principally QuickTakeSM, a survey tool Greenfield Online has developed as an Application Service Provider (ASP).
