"There's definitely been an increase in traffic," Scott Sheffield, the Florence Target Store Team Leader, said."And a lot of guests are excited about that 5 percent they're saving on the sales tax."There were several hundred people waiting to get into the Target store on David McLeod Boulevard on Friday morning."The day has gone fantastic.We've had so much fun interacting with our guests," Sheffield said."We had a lot of guests out in front of our store.They were pumped up.They were excited to shop our store."Sheffield said sales were going well Friday, and he said he hoped they continue during the holiday shopping season."We expect a great season.We're very excited.We've had a great year all year.Our guests are excited about coming to shop our stores."So what are some of the hottest gifts this season?"The two hottest areas are electronics and toys , iPods, digital cameras, digital camcorders, video game systems, TVs, like high-definition televisions," Sheffield said."All those areas have been very popular for us.
