Dave Sheets is a fundraising, communications and advancement professional with 25 years in healthcare, public broadcasting and higher education philanthropy.Prior to joining Skystone Ryan, Mr. Sheets headed up DLS Associates, a fundraising and marketing firm with offices in Houston and Columbus, Ohio.Among his numerous accomplishments, he directed a major capital campaign for medical research and created a very successful model for corporate program underwriting for PBS stations throughout America.Mr. Sheets is a frequent presenter at conferences and seminars sponsored by AFP, CASE and PBS.He holds an undergraduate degree in business and accounting from Miami University in Ohio and a master's degree in public relations from American University, Washington, D.C. Postgraduate studies include courses at Boston University's School of Public Communications and the Executive Management Program at Harvard University.In U.S. military service, he served in numerous public affairs capacities over his 22 year career in the Air Force Reserve.Mr. Sheets has served on the national board of AFP, is past president of the AFP Central Ohio chapter and was named to Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
