Gili has played numerous solo recitals, including a debut in Carnegie Hall, the United Nations, the Tel Aviv Museum for the Arts and for the Israel Philharmonic Chamber Series.In 2002 she was a featured soloist at the Staller Center for the Arts under the renowned pianist and conductor Leon Fleisher.
As an orchestral musician she has appeared with the Israel Philharmonic under the baton of Zubin Mehta in Israel and Spain, the American Symphony at Avery Fisher Hall and at Bard College, the New York City Ballet at the New York State Theater and Jupiter Symphony at Lincoln Center.Among her numerous festival appearances are the Verbier Music Festival in Switzerland, "Winter in Jerusalem" in Israel, the Vermont Mozart Festival and Lincoln Center Festival with the Merce Cunnigham Dance Company at Rose Hall.
Gili Sharett appeared in the McGraw Hill Companies' Young Artists Showcase on WQXR and was featured on Israel's classical radio station The Voice of Music.She won two first prizes in the solo and chamber music competitions the Rubin Academy of Music and has been a receipient of scholarships from the America-Israel Culture Foundation since 1996.
She is a member of Ariel Winds, an all female woodwind quintet that performs extensively in major venues throughout the United States.She has been a faculty member of the Brevard Music Center since 2002.
Gili Sharett received a Doctorate of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.She earned a Bachelor of Music degree with honors from the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv.
