TBSL, in a joint venture with Malaysia's Stanton Technologies, has signed an agreement with Chinese government entity Potevio to provide IPTV services to over 500 million mobile subscribers in China.
Stanton is providing the technology to deliver the mobile IPTV to the existing 2.5G platform.
"We understand that spectrum is a problem in India and expect it to be sorted out soon.We are using 2.5G now and are in discussion with service providers to decide on the future course of action," Mr Shah told UNI.
TBSL has also set up a content licensing centre."It will allow companies to source content without piracy and the industry will not lose out on revenue," he said.
