Dr. Tauqeer Shah

Representative of ILO, Dr, Tauqeer Shah stated that lack of basic infrastructure to ensure women's participation in services, discrimination is salary and harassment at workplace are key factors that restrict Pakistani women from going for a job.Dr. Shah said that the Government did not have a single scheme to provide women with transportation to and from their workplaces despite the fact that traveling through transport in the country is is a Herculean task.He said the country also locked required number of day-care centers for the children of the working women through the Constitution provided by the same.
