Mansoor is a Senior Lecturer and Project Manager at the Manchester Metropolitan University . Mansoor is also an External Examiner for 3 Postgraduate Programmes, the Liverpool John Moores University MA in Mental Health, The Merseyside Approved Social Worker (ASW) Programme and the Staffordshire ASW Programme.

He is a Non Executive Director of Black Health Association Forum (B.H.A.F) and a Non Executive Director of Abseen Institute of Medical Science (A.I.M.S.). Mansoor is also a Trustee of Whitefield Preparatory School.

Mansoor has over 20 years of experience of working in Health Authorities and Local Government in the fields of Health and Social Care.He has also extensive academic experience in higher education teaching, Research, Community Development and Human Communications.
