  Passed his BDS from GDC, Mumbai in 1980. Since then, he has been extremely active in local and national dental associations and events. He has been the Secretary & President IDA Surat Branch, Organising Secretary IDA Gujarat State Branch, Vice President and later President, Gujarat State Branch. Dr. Shah has also been a Central Council Member , IDA head office and Gujarat Executive Council Member. Besides these, he is a Director of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry. His recent interest in implants has found him part of several implant assocaitions in India. Dr. Shah maintains a private practice in Surat.

  Dr. Chandresh Shah, a graduate of 1980 from Government Dental College, Mumbai is based in Surat.During his undergraduate years, he was and even now is into a lot of sports and was elected as Mr. GDC in 1978.He has been very active in the Indian Dental Assn - serving as the president of the Surat Branch in 1988-89 and rising to be President of the Gujarat State Branch in 1992-93.He has been a member of the Central Council of the IDA for a very long time.Dr. Chandresh Shah married Heena, his junior by a year in dental-school, and they have two children - Abhishek and Aishani.He is also a very active Rotarian.He is currently a director of the IAACD.
